Animahenasyon 2011: 5th Philippine Animation Festival at Eastwood City from November 22 - 25, 2011
Animahenasyon 2011: 5th Philippine Animation Festival
Eastwood City
November 22 (Tuesday) - 25 (Friday), 2011
Animahenasyon is an annual Filipino animation festival that features the different animation works of both aspiring and professional animators in the country through a competition. Also part of the festival is the animation master classes / seminars / workshops, and exhibits of the works of seasoned animators and lifetime achievement awardees. Animahenasyon serves as a venue for Filipino animators to present their world-class ideas, to open doors of opportunities, and a chance for them to meet and be inspired by the finest names in the industry.
Animahenasyon is the Filipino equivalent of animagination, as a result of combining the words “animation” and “imagination” (imahenasyon). It is also about the image (imahe) that we want to portray as a nation (nasyon) of animators to the world. But Animahenasyon is more than just a showcase of what the Filipino animators can do. It is really a harvest (ani) of the Filipino talent and creativity. It is a celebration of the Philippine animation industry.

No Need to Text When Using the Samsung Galaxy 2 Mobile Phone, Just Dictate Your Message =)
There is now actually a mobile phone wherein you could just dictate your message and your cellphone sends it. No need to text, it's hands free!
For example, you say this...
"Text ____________(the name of the person you want to send a message to)
Message (then state your message)
Send"
WATCH DEMO VIDEO HERE
This Cellphone is suitable for people who are...
- driving (at least you're sure it's a safer drive, significantly lower chance of hitting a pedestrian, dog or lamp post this time and no police officer or MMDA (Metropolitan Manila Development Authority) to flag you down because you're not texting)
- having a hard time texting due to poor eyesight or old age
- NOT techies, they would rather call than text in using their mobile phones
- blessed with big hands that it's hard for them to text
- just plain too lazy to text =)
